WHAT IS LEVITRA?
Levitra a.k.a verdenafil is an oral drug that was developed to treat male sexual dysfunction problems especially erectile dysfunction ED (or impotence). Levitra (Verdenafil) functions by increasing blood flow to the penis and helps maintenance of penile erection. Sexual stimulation causes nitric oxide to be produced and released from the nerves endings of the hollow tissues in the penis, in so doing it activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase. Guanylate cyclase in its turn is responsible for production of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). The cGMP causes widening and relaxation of the blood vessels carrying blood to the penis. Levitra prevents phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme from destroying cGMP and thus helps to support blood flow to the penis.
WHY SHOULD I USE LEVITRA?
Is that even a question? Of course you should use Levitra as it contains all the essential substances that your penis needs to grow strong and stay healthy! As said above, when you are sexually stimulated, your body releases nitric oxide an then the entire cycle which I explained above begins to happen leading to sustained penile erection. If this doesn’t happen when you are sexually stimulated then you have a problem, called encephalolackoftopenisomania! Ok, in simple terms, what you have is an erectile dysfunction and that’s what Levitra was developed to treat. Levitra helps you achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activities.
WHAT IS THE RIGHT DOSAGE FOR MAXIMUM RESULT?
Unlike other drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction, you require only 20mg of Levitra taken 1 hour before sexual activity. This dosage could be increased if needed based on your tolerance level of the drug.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE LEVITRA TO WORK?
Levitra should be taken 1 hour before sexual intercourse. Its effect can last up to 4 hours, so do not be in a hurry, take your time. WARNING: It is advisable to stay off Levitra if you have had any case of stroke or heart failure in the past six months. Also, avoid it if you have any bleeding disorder, Peyronie’s disease, liver or kidney problems, and gastric ulcer.
DOES LEVITRA HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
The most common side effects include: headache, flushing (hyperemia of the person); frequent; dizziness, diarrhea phenomenon, nausea, nasal congestion. However, most of these effects are transient and will blow over with time.
